The Nuraghe, a true symbol of Sardinia, is a stone tower widespread throughout the entire island. Their origin is ancient, dating the second and third millennium BC. Unique megalithic monuments are the largest and best preserved in Europe. There are about 7000 Nuraghi in Sardinia. Their function is estimated to be defensive, a control of the territory but also converge assumptions of a religious or politician nature. |

Porto Conte Park- Alghero

The Porto Conte Park, north of Alghero, described by the famous naturalist Jacques Cousteau "one of the most beautiful areas of the Mediterranean." The area of the park, spread over 60 km of coastline from the Calick pond reaches Baraz Lake, a mixture of landscapes without equal in Europe.
In the area of Maristella, Punta Giglio, you can admire the bay of Porto Conte, passing towards Capo-caccia, the Tramariglio area (the park head-office) and the spectacular panorama of the island of Foradada.
