The New Year’s Eve in Alghero
Alghero is the queen of New Year’s Eve in Sardinia!
The city has always offered events and shows lasting over a month. This year’s calendar is decidedly rich, with the return of a series of events such as BirrAlguer, a festival dedicated to craft beers and street-food. Lots of appointments with big names in Italian music.
➡️ The most important events scheduled for New Year’s Eve in Alghero
Alghero is ringing in the New Year with various light installations including the lanterns in Piazza Civica. Among the most interesting events is the lighting of the Christmas tree in Piazza Porta Terra.
Created in collaboration with the students of the Liceo Artistico, the Alghero Christmas tree is unique. Each year it features a new design while maintaining the fixed presence of coral, the symbol of the city.
