FERRY ROUTES FROM ITALY WITH  GRIMALDI LINES

The departures for Civitavecchia – Porto Torres route usually have night time schedules with departures at 10.15pm on Monday. Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 11.00pm. Saturday at 23.59. From 4 June to 16 September 5 weekly departures

 

The departure for the Civitavecchia – Olbia line is daily from Monday to Sunday at 22.30

 

The Lighorn – Olbia route has two daily departures from Monday to Sunday in the morning at 10.00 and in the evening at 21.30

 


 

Ferries to Sardinia: travel options

 
Each company runs during daytime, but also overnight. Journey time could last from 5 up to 6 hours and a half, depending on the route and the ferry itself.
 
Travelling overnight is very convenient as the ferry leaves in the evening and lands in the morning.
 
The crossing may last 7 up to a maximum of 12 hours of sailing, depending on the route and the type of ferry that the company employs for the crossing.
 
The ferries companies offer many types of accommodation and plenty of on-board services.
 
Passengers may travel in cabins, in complete privacy, or choose a cheaper solution, as air seats (recliners or standard) or deck accommodation (which is to say not to have any reserved seat on board)
The ferries which connect smaller islands to Sardinia only provide deck accommodation.
