38  blue-flags!

The most cleanest beaches in Sardinia

2019

Sardinia is the most famous region of Italy for the beauty of its wild and white beaches. The great fortune of this region is the preserved coastline that guarantees still pure and uncontaminated waters.

Every year Sardinia is one of the Italian regions that boast the highest number of blue flags

The beaches awarded with the blue flag certify important characteristics that include the quality of the water, which  must be extremely clean. Not only the purity of the water, but also the beach-services are important like the presence of lifeguards, a clean and well-kept sandy-shore, easy access for disabled people, respect for the environment including the waste collection and eco-friendly options.

For this reason, the assignment of blue flags every year is a great recognition of the beauty and preservation of Sardinian beaches
