For several years, Cagliari has celebrated New Year’s Eve with a special format: instead of a single big concert on December 31st, multiple stages with artists light up the city’s main squares. Alongside the traditional Christmas festivities, roaming events will bring music and entertainment to the capital of Sardinia, animating its most iconic spots.
WHO WILL BE THE STAR OF NEW YEAR’S EVE IN CAGLIARI 2025?
For New Year’s Eve concert on the 31st December there will be the Italian ginger 🎤 Giusy Ferreri and few more artists: Mimì Caruso, MYSS Keta and Dj set Luvi!
Cagliari New Year’s Eve Events Program
For New Year’s Eve, Cagliari will be an all-female affair. The star guest is Sicilian singer Giusy Ferreri. Joining her are Mimì Caruso (winner of X-Factor 2024) and performer MISS Keta. To continue the night, a DJ set by Cagliari native Luvi! will be provided. The evening will be hosted by Lucido Sottile.
Cagliari’s New Year’s Eve celebrations will include celebrations throughout the city from December 30th to January 1st.
- Piazza San Giacomo will be dedicated to rap: emerging Sardinian talents will take the stage before Sgribaz’s live performance.
- At the Bastione Santa Croce, there will be a DJ set with DJ JFK and DJ Aste.
- December 30th: The Bastione Santa Croce will host the “Croccante” event from 6:00 PM to midnight, featuring DJs Sheldon, Raffaele Sanna, Matthew Mas, Maxime Catena, and percussionist Pablo Puddu. In Piazza San Giacomo, starting at 7:00 PM, Lucido Sottile will perform their show.
- January 1st: At 3:00 PM, musician Riccardo Mannai and his band will perform at the Bastione Santa Croce, retracing a journey through Italian hits from the 1960s to the present. In Piazza San Giacomo, starting at 4:00 PM, jazz, blues, and funk will take center stage with Jazzino.
Christmas markets
Traditional Christmas markets will be present in Cagliari throughout December until Epiphany. Approximately 40 wooden stalls where you can purchase handmade products, gift ideas, decorations, and taste excellent flavors typical of this season. The markets will be located between Corso Vittorio Emanuele II and Piazza Yenne and will feature entertainment with jugglers, street artists, choir performances, and much more!
