Lazzaretto beach – Alghero
Road SS 127BIS between Fertilia and Porto Conte
This is one of the most popular in the area. It tends to be quite crowded during August and over the week-ends. It’s a small beach surrounded by low rocks and Mediterranean scrub. The water is usually one of the coldest of the area but as soon as you get used to the cool temperature, it’s fantastic to explore the seabed full of sealife. Around the Torre del Lazzaretto built in XIV cent. you can find some really nice coves and bays. It can’t be missed!

Maria Pia Beach – Alghero

If you are cominng from Alghero you need to follow the directions to Fertilia. Behind the wide pine forest lies this wonderful beach. Away from the city centre but still not so far, the beach is quite long with white sand dunes. Nice clean and crystal clear water. Picnic areas where the pines make a natural shadow. Perfect for families with children because of the shallow and warm waters
Porto Ferro beach – Alghero

The beach is in the municipality of Sassari, however it is very close to Alghero. In the direction of Porto Conte turn onto the SP 55BIS at the crossroads
