HOW TO REACH THE NORTH SARDINIA
Reaching North Sardinia from many Italian and European cities is really easy thanks to the two international airports: Alghero and Olbia and the numerous ferry connections from the port of Olbia, Golfo Aranci and Porto Torres
Alghero-Fertilia airport is located in the north-west within the province of Sassari. Despite being a small airport, it offers direct connections to the main Italian and European cities. During the summer, flights and destinations are doubled and new destinations added.
Olbia-Costa Smeralda Airport is located in the north-east and is the main of the Costa Smeralda. In terms of traffic the second airport with more passengers on the island. Links with UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and many other countries.
In the north-west of Sardinia there is the port of Porto Torres located in the province of Sassari. The main connection concerns the Genoa – Porto Torres but also offers connections to Civitavecchia, Barcelona and France
In the north-east the port of Olbia is the largest port in Sardinia for number of passengers. Connections with Livorno, Civitavecchia, Piombino, Genoa.
